Olympic record In the triple jump the Russian Tatyana Lebedeva achieved the second best with 15.32 and the Greek triple jumper Chrysopigi Devetzi achieved the third best distance with 15.23. During post-tests of the doping samples from 2008, Tatyana Lebedeva demonstrated the Turinabol doping agent and the Greek woman stanzozolol, the same doping agent that the Canadian 100m runner Ben Johnson had already used in 1988. In 2016/2017, both were subsequently disqualified. The silver and bronze medals were not reassigned. Tatyana Lebedeva also lost her long jump silver medal.
